Steve is the Chief Pilot at the Wake Forest Fire Department and the former Chief pilot at the North Carolina Public Safety Drone Academy. He is also a founder of the North Carolina Volunteer Rescue Pilots group.
He is an experienced dog rescue pilot through his non-profit group Pilot.dog. He is also an expert drone pilot and instructor for public safety through Public Safety Flight and as an author for AOPA, and Drone Life.
When Steve is not flying he has spent decades as a consumer debt expert helping good people with bad debt find solutions to difficult problems through his site GetOutOfDebt.org.
Steve is also the owner of Rare Aviation and is the producer of the Cockpit Organizer that is now carried by major aviation retailers.
