Andrew Albert

Andrew is a single-engine land and multi-engine land airplane instrument pilot.  He loves to share his passion for flying with others.  He is a commercial unmanned aircraft systems pilot.  Andrew is a volunteer UAS rescue pilot for a local fire department as well as a tactical flight officer on Fire Demon 1.  If he’s not working the streets to keep the public safe, he is in the air helping the community.

Andrew is also a founding pilot of the North Carolina Volunteer Pilots group.

Andrew Albert

Andrew was sworn in as a police officer with a North Carolina law enforcement agency in December 2007.    He is currently a sergeant that oversees a patrol squad’s day-to-day operations and serves as the SWAT Commander that oversees the tactical team. 

He has experience with tactical teams throughout the state that focus on high-risk search warrants, barricaded subjects, high-risk arrest warrants, and other incidences that require a higher knowledge of tactical operations.

Andrew was awarded the Crisis Intervention Officer of the Year in 2010 and has been awarded the Intermediate and Advanced Law Enforcement Certificates by the North Carolina Department of Justice.  He has worked in several divisions of the police department to include Aggressive Criminal Enforcement, Narcotics, Traffic, Patrol, and Tactical Service Unit. 

He has completed AOMP (Administrative Officers Management Program) at North Carolina State University, Tactical Command through the National Tactical Officers Association, and Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute, and Executive Leadership Institute through the FBI-LEEDA program as a trilogy recipient.
