Wayne has been involved in emergency services since 1975. He worked for the North Carolina Office State Fire Marshal for 25 years. During his time with OSFM, he served as a Certification Specialist and Deputy Director.
In 2019, he went to work for Blue Ridge Mountain Drones as their Chief Pilot. Wayne’s focus is teaching the FAA Part 107 classes to Public Safety that includes LEO, ATF, FBI, Homeland Security, fire, rescue, and EMS.
In Wayne’s downtown, he enjoys snow skiing, fly fishing, mountain biking, and flying drones in his hometown of Asheville.
